The clocks of time have been corrupted, and the ChronoKnight has to fix them. Artix Entertainment's short action game is a run of fights against giant bosses.

The fights are slide-and-slash battles. The NES cannot show sprites that big, so the monsters are drawn as background graphics moved around the screen, and the background flickers when a boss is hit to make the blows feel heavier; the team says getting this right took a lot of trial and error. The game can be finished in one sitting.

It was the team's entry in the NESmaker Byte-Off 2020 and placed 8th. Artix did the design and code, Clarion the pixel art, Jongaar the music and Gilbert Vera (The Ultimate Gilby) more code. A heavy metal remix of the boss music was later added to the download. The team went on to make AdventureQuest 8-Bit: Dungeons & Doomknights.
