MatrixZ's Super NeSnake 2, a clone of Nibbles: collect the flashing numbers 1 to 9 in each maze while the snake grows.

The snake never stops, and you turn it with the D-pad. Fruit gives bonus points, a shield lets you hit a wall once and a star makes the head immune to inner walls for a while. There are 25 levels, three difficulties and passwords, a friend or the computer can play the second snake, and Extreme Quest uses the same mazes with a faster snake.

MatrixZ made it in 2008 and wrote the soundtrack, using CA65 and a modified Nerdtracker 2 sound driver. A tool-assisted run of Extreme Quest by MESHUGGAH and alyosha is on TASVideos.
