Proto Dere .NES is a deliberately rough horror platformer presented as a lost prototype from the world of AppSir Games' Dere Evil .exe: escape a burning underground mine.

You climb ladders and cross platforms past stabbing hazards, with 99 lives. The fiction says a collector found the original cartridge and dumped it online, believing it to be a lost NES port of an arcade game called Proto Dere.

AppSir Games released it on 28 January 2019 as free DLC for Dere Evil .exe on Steam, and also as a free download on itch.io.
