Metal guitar legends Vex Vertigo and Drop D. Armstrong die after an encounter with the police, and in Morphcat Games' tower climber they head up through the planes of hell to save metal.

The faster you climb, the more points you score. You can wall jump, and your thrown guitar works as a hook that pulls you up to platforms; you cannot die while it is in the air. Spinning and pressing A as you land gives a bounce boost. Two players can play together.

Morphcat Games, the studio behind Micro Mages and Spacegulls, made it for the NESdev Compo 2023 and released it on 20 November 2023. It placed 6th overall and 1st for sound. A browser version is available.
