A platformer on a tiny asteroid where gravity points toward whatever surface you stand on.

The hero is stranded, and the only ride home is a small car that needs three crystals to fly. Because the world is so small, you can run along walls and ceilings and flip between surfaces upside down or sideways while searching the asteroid for the crystals.

How to play

Goal
Find the three crystals that power the car, then fly away.

Facts

  • Made for Ludum Dare 38 (April 2017), whose theme, "A Small World", gave the game its name. In the Jam category it averaged 3.69 from about 25 ratings (194th overall), with its best results for Innovation (73rd) and Fun (107th).
  • After the jam the author fixed collision bugs reported on the NESdev forums, closed a shortcut that let players leave before collecting the crystals and made coins collectable.
  • The game was later renamed Arlington Apple in an Interplanetary Pickle.
